EDITORIAL · REVIEW · CORRECTIONS

Scientific trust is a process, not a badge.

Tossora Lab publishes calculation aids for research use. This policy explains how sources are selected, what internal review means, what is not claimed, and how a problem should be documented.

01

Source hierarchy

Primary methods papers, recognized standards, regulator or government guidance, and established scientific manuals are preferred. Commercial educational material is used only when it clearly documents a practical workflow.

02

Calculation review

Core equations, unit normalization, boundary conditions and representative examples are reviewed before release. A passing internal test is not described as independent or regulatory validation.

03

Interpretation boundary

Pages state assumptions that can materially change a result and separate research planning from clinical, diagnostic, regulated or confirmatory use.

04

Reference visibility

Core research tools display selected method references close to the calculation. A citation indicates the source informed the workflow; it does not imply endorsement.

05

Review dates

Material pages show a review date. Dates are updated only when the relevant method, implementation or interpretation has actually been checked.

06

Corrections

Material errors are corrected in version-controlled source, covered by an updated check where practical, and reflected in the page review information before release.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Who is responsible?

Tossora Lab editorial ownership covers page structure, formulas implemented in the site, unit behavior, references, examples and release checks.

The researcher remains responsible for protocol selection, data quality, exclusions, model suitability, acceptance criteria and institutional or regulatory compliance.

Independent review is not claimed unless a named reviewer, relevant qualification, review date and exact review scope are published on the page.

CORRECTION WORKFLOW

From report to release.

  1. 1
    Triage

Classify scientific, calculation, translation, accessibility or interaction risk.

  2. 2
    Reproduce

Confirm the behavior with non-confidential inputs and identify affected pages.

  3. 3
    Correct & test

Change the source, add or update a check, and review neighboring calculations.

  4. 4
    Release

Publish the correction and update the review information when material.

REPORT A PROBLEM

Make the issue reproducible.

Build a structured report without sending research data to Tossora Lab. The tool works locally and lets you copy or download the report.
